Sadie Hawkins 2009

We Are Switzerland, At Least For This Week!

In the tiny town I live in, it is once again time for our town to elect a Mayor. Not a problem right? Let me explain the logistics and then you might see what I am talking about. The current Mayor lives in the house directly to the North of us. The challenging Mayoral candidate lives in the house directly to the South of us. We are in the middle, we are neutral, we are Switzerland. We are friends or friendly with both families. Some of our neighbors have signs for one or the other on their lawns. We have none. These 2 ran against each other in the last Mayoral race and the neighbor to the North won and was re-elected for a second term. There were some election shenanigans that went on,and on election day things were a little crazy.6 days and my town will have new Mayor. Will he be from the North or the South?

Mr. North or Mr. South, which one of you will be our Mayor?

So I will "rock" my vote because

I love my town, I will vote! Always do!

Can I write in Pedro? It would be so much easier this way.

I will proudly wear my " I voted" sticker for that day.

Who will lead our tiny town? Can't wait to find out!

A Lot of Red Velvet Love Up In Here

Yesterday after a wonderul Sunday dinner, Alyson and I made Red Velvet Cupcakes. I have never had Red Velvet anything before, but I knew Al loves it. One word to describe them...Yummy!

Alyson has LOVED Red Velvet forever. Here she is when we went to The Cheesecake Factory with her Red Velevet cheesecake!

He's Back... Our Bug is Feeling Much Better!

Tayten was able to come visit yesterday! It seemed like forever since we had all seen him. Colby has been going out to see him while he was sick, but the rest of us just had to wait it out! He was almost back to his old self.He really just wanted to snuggle and let me tell you this boy knows his Dad and loves to have his Daddy hold him and talk to him! I don't know what it is but Colby just seems to soothe Tayten. He makes him happy and he just grins at Colby! He was 5 months old on the 23rd, and he turned 22 weeks on Saturday.Sad, that I missed pics of week 21 but him being healthy is what matters most.

I can't resist buying binkies when I see a cute one! He doesn't really take them, so I consider them photo props. Our Little Rock Star!

And the Heisman goes to?

Tayten and Uncle Andy...

Smiling big at his Daddy!

Dad, you are so silly!

Playing peek a boo with the chunky monkey jammies I bought for him!

So stinkin' cute!
