A Sunday Afternoon With The Bug...

He was handing out smiles all day long!

Thanksgiving 2009

Even Tayten got in on the Thanksgiving feast. He started off with some sweet potatoes and Daddy couldnt shovel them in fast enough!

Like Father like Son, the boys checking out the football game before dinner.

Grandpa carving the turkey...Yum

Andy carving the ham

Grandma thought it would be tasty to put an orange and bay leaves inside the turkey! We all agreed it was so good!

Tayten being his cute self

The beautifully set table

More Tayten

Andy and Alyson

Tayten napping on the floor in Grandma's closet. Grandpa always naps on the floor in his closet so Tayten thought he would try it! He slept so good!

Happy Thanksgiving From Our Family To Yours

BE THANKFUL

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don't know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
because it means you've made a difference.

It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who
are also thankful for the setbacks.

Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they can become your blessings.

Oh The Legs On Our Boy....

In case you have forgotten, I love every single thing about Tayten, but I do have a few favorites right now. One has got to be this boys legs! They are softest, chubbiest, cutest little legs I have ever seen. I think you will have to agree with me on this one. Second, I love when he sucks his little bottom lip in. I was able to capture one really good picture of him doing this a few weeks ago.I think he might be the most photographed child out there! (Yes, Andy I will take just as many pictures of your children when they arrive one day!) We finally got batteries put in all the toys Chris and Holly gave Tayten and he loves the music. He would shake his booty when one particular song came on. Oh, the entertainment this wonderful boy provides. I am so grateful that he chose to come to our family, what a sweet little spirit he is. I can't imagiine life without this little guy!

Don't mind the drool on his shirt, I wanted some pictures with his "Little Brother" shirt, minus the bib. :)

6 Months Old Today...Can You Believe It?

Puppy Percoset Anyone?

10 days ago the 4 dogs were upstairs playing as they always do and we heard this "yelp" from Bella. Instantly she would not walk on her right rear paw. She cried all night long and as soon as the vet opened I took her in. The first question they asked me was "How much are you willing to spend to fix her?" Rude! Don't you think? They told me she would have to be sedated for the x-rays and they would call me when they knew what exactly was wrong. When the vet called she gave me the good news first, no surgery and nothing was broken. Bella had dislocated one of the joints in her paw and ruptured a ligament. She will be in a lovely splint/cast for 2 months. The vet will need to change it every two weeks. They sent her home with pupply percoset for two weeks. This is how she feels on puppy percoset.I am happy to report that she is almost back to her old self. She can jump on the couch again and do the stairs in record time. She definately is not letting this keep her down. The Diva is Back!
