Mother Nature

Continues to not disappoint!

When Does A Week Seem Like Forever?!?

When you don't see this cutie for 7 days! It seems like forever! When Colby got here this afternoon, Tayten had the biggest grin on his face! I had wondered all week if he would remember us, but he did. I was worrying for nothing. He had grown sooo much in the last week, maybe not, but to us he was definately bigger, sweeter, cuter and his hair is growing back!! He is so precious, we couldn't love on him enough!

Getting ready for dinner

Yes, he had to hold the fork

Lounging around

Tayten loves this lawn mower... he acts like it is a vacuum and will crawl all around pushing it. He is really good at getting in all the corners.. This kid is thorough, I must say!

Just chillin'

There's that smile that melts a Grandma's heart

The week before last Tayten started grabbing our noses, and so when he did we would say "honk, honk" and he would laugh and laugh. Tonight while he was sitting on the floor he grabbed his own nose and made this funny "honking" sound. I wish I had the camcorder close because it was hilarious.

Colby and Tayten headed outside with the dogs after dinner

I think that grass might tickle a bit.

Tayten loved being up on Colby's shoulders... little hard for Colby to see but what the heck!

Before we went in for Tayten's bath, we went walking through the sprinklers and he loved stomping in the puddles on the sidewalk! Tayten is developing quite the little personality and it is so fun to see things through his little eyes and watch him change and grow! Not to quickly though, we want to enjoy every stage of our lil' man turning into a terrible 2, then 3, 4 5, 6, 7!

You get the idea right?

A Drive To The Lake....

Colby has been helping my Dad a lot over the last several months at Bear Lake. On Memorial Day my Mom, Tayten and I took a leisurely drive to the lake to see how things were progressing. It was so cold over there, the wind was howling! The view of the lake never gets old... It is spectacular!!

The girls and Tayten went to the best little sandwich place in Fish Haven called Gladys. Yummy sandwiches that are so big you can only eat half and the rest you take home for dinner. Each sandwich comes with a huge slice of dill pickle. Tayten ate my WHOLE pickle. It was such a photo op but no camera was to be found! Trust me, he was super funny and loved that pickle!

It is our week at the lake starting today, so glad the weather is saying HOT and SUNNY. Bear Lake here we come!

Tayten picked up this piece of wire, just like a little electrician... He was ready to work!

Grandpa T's doodles....I mean plans.

Coloradoans?!?

These 4 of my favorite Utahns left yesterday and for the next 4 days have become Coloradoans! Is that what Colorado people are called? I miss them already! Please, bring me back lots of rainbow trout from your adventure! I hope the fish are biting! Happy Fishing!

Hmm... seems to be a theme lately, missing my favorites!

23 Hours

That is how many hours it has been since I saw my lil' man. I am already missing him!!! I think knowing that I won't be seeing him until next Tuesday, and that is the longest I have gone without his cute hugs, kisses and smiles since he has existed, is the reason for the huge case of withdrawal I am having.

Grandma misses you Bug!

PS- Really what is cuter than an almost naked, chubby, adorable baby? Especially this one!

Flip Flops FOREVER!

If you've been around here long, or know me at all, then you know that I wear some sort of flip flops every single day (fancy ones, plain ones, cheap ones, bejeweled ones). So I found it funny yesterday when I googled flip flop, and it asked me if I wanted to see flip flop quotes, flip flop poems or flip flop sayings. Why, yes I do, I thought to myself... Some of the best I found on the good ole internet are listed below! I can't take credit for the genius that some of them are and no, I don't believe ALL of them, BUT they all made me laugh!

With the right flip flops you can do anything…

Don’t make me slap you with my flip flop!

I’m in a flip flop state of mind.

Bury me with my flip flops on!

Real Men don’t wear flip flops. (I totally disagree)

If you can’t wear flip flops there’s no use going!

Peace.Love.Flipflop.

May the flop be with you.

Flip Flops are shoes.

My Mom calls these slaps. (Not My Mom)

I may flip, but I won’t flop. Got that Hilary?

Sticks and stones make break my bones but flip flops will never hurt me.

Flip flop; flip flop… the sound of a democrat walking… Oops talking!

I am thoroughly LOVING my flip flop summer, hope all of you are too!

Welcome Home!
