Christmas before Thanksgiving?

Last Sunday night even before Thanksgiving Andy was sooo ready to set up the Christmas decorations. We did realize that Andy has not had a Christmas at home since 2005 so Andy and Alyson brought up the Christmas boxes from the basement. It was so much fun to see him remember and reminisce about each ornament and item he pulled out of each box. I got the idea that Christmas in the West Indies is nothing like Christmas at home with your family. The tree got decorated, the stockings were hung, the lighted snowman on the front porch and they still wanted to do more. They decided on the Christmas village and everyone had a blast making the sledding hill, the skating rink and putting up the little light posts that really light up! It is so good to have all of my children together this year for the holidays. I definately have so much to be thankful for this year.

A Beautiful Girl and her Cell Phone

We often catch Kenzie taking pictures of herself with her cell phone. She could be anywhere, watching TV, driving in the car with me, looking in the mirror and she will "cheese it"!! I have on many occasions seen her friends do this too, so I would have to say this is normal teenage behavior. Strange, I know but I can't wait to see your posts when your children get cell phones and become interested in self-portraiture!!

Bored on a Sunday Night? Try This...

This is what happens at our house on a Sunday night when boredom sets in and we entertain ourselves. Andy has some stretching to do if he doesn't want to get "cut" from the kick line!!

Grandpa Bought a Hardware Store....

While my parents were visiting my sister in AZ.my dad was pushing Kaylin on the swing. As you can see it didn't quit turn out like he thought it might. Grandpa bought a hardware store while he was in AZ and unfortunately it is permanently in his ankle. He had surgery at Chandler Regional and can't travel back to Utah for at least 3 to 4 weeks. All we want for Christmas is our Grandma and Grandpa back!! Get better Soon. We love you!
