Movin' On Up...To The East Side!

Hyde Park that is... Since before Tayten was born Colby has been looking at houses in Hyde Park. He wants to be closer to our Bug and who can blame him? The dream of living near Tayten could be a reality very soon.

Here are some of the houses he has been looking at! It definately is a buyers market right now and there are some real steals out there! I know this Daddy will have fun decorating a room, just for Tayten.

Tayten's First Parade...USU Homecoming!

This morning was the USU homecoming parade. We met everyone at the Tabernacle to watch the festivities! The Aggies are playing the SUU Thunderbirds for Homecoming tonight so Ash is up for the weekend. She is a 2nd year athletic trainer for SUU. Tayten spent most of the parade sound asleep in his stroller, nothing was waking him up. Britt and Spencer, Karen and her brother, all of us and my Mom were there. It was a lot of fun. If you missed the parade I took enough pictures so it will seem like you were there.The Airbound Angels were cheering in the parade. This is the gym that Alyson and Britt coach at.Alyson had a lot of friends on the Student Alumni float since she was the Student Alum President all of last year! Justin from Cafe Sabor was handing out bags of chips and their yummy salsa! Yes, that is Santa Claus in the parade and we know it is September...only in Logan.Tayten finally woke up, had a snack and then watched the rest of the parade with his Daddy!

After the parade we went and walked around the Farmers Market, and then Colby wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse. He had never been before and so all 12 of us went to Texas Roadhouse even though most of us had just been there on Wednesday for Kenzie's birthday! We are all going to the football game tonight to watch Ash do her trainer gig. She says that tonight she will probably just play water girl most of the night. :) We told her we are hoping that she has to treat a serious groin injury right in the middle of the field! :) Do we wear blue for the Aggies or red for the Thunderbirds? It is USU's homecoming so probably blue, but Sky View beat Logan last night and it was Logan's homecoming!!! SUU's quarterback is injured, Ash says he will still play but doesn't think they will win. I think any team can win any team on any given day! Goooo Aggies!

Oh, and the Bug is 18 weeks old today!!

Kenzie's Day

For Kenzie's birthday she chose to go to the new Texas Roadhouse which has only been open 2 days. We went at 5 thinking it would be early, no rush...wrong! It was packed, every table, every booth from the time we got there until I am sure way past the time we left! My mom got there early and they seated us as soon as the birthday girl arrived.

I have to say we loved the atmosphere, the energy and the servers line dancing in the aisles. My Dad ordered a Texas Blossom as an appetizer and it was really good. While we waited for our meal, Kenz opened some of her presents. I had already ordered her 3 new pair of glasses online, (pics when they arrive) purple and lime green ones, red ones, and black ones. They def are a fashion statement for her.I also ordered her some MAC makeup online. Where did the girl pick up her expensive tastes? In the Birthday Princess bag was a ton of stuff she will need and use at beauty school, clips, combs, spray bottle, brushes, color brushes and bowls, lots of fun little goodies. Her Grandma had sewn her a new black and red blanket for her new grown up room, and Andy and Al gave her 2 swanky red hanging lamps for her room. I see a project in Colby's future!

Behind our table someone dropped a glass of lemonade and it broke everywhere. Well, this is how they clean it up Texas Roadhouse style! They throw a BUNCH of peanuts all over the spill and many cute girls come and jump and dance all over the peanuts and the peanuts absorb the mess, and then they sweep it up. Very Entertaining!

After we all had eaten we were so full, no one wanted cake so we are saving the Keith cake for Saturday when Ashley is here. Kenz said it was the best cake ever, I am sure this is because the picture on the cake is from her best day ever! Silly Girl!

Her Mamacita sent her the lovely flowers to her at school! So pretty....Kenz and the flowers!

My Baby is 18 Today!

Happy 18th Birthday Kenzie! What an amazing girl you are! You are so beautiful,funny and my best shopping buddy! I can't put into words how proud I am of you! I hope you have a wonderful day and may all your wishes come true when you blow out all the candles on your one of a kind Keith Urban cake tonight! I love you more than you know and cant wait to see what remarkable things the future holds for you! I love you Beazer!
