Christmas Eve 2009

It is a family tradition to have home cooked Chinese food on Christmas Eve. This year was no exception.I do have to say that my wonderful Dad out did himself this year with the best beef and broccoli and a fantastic cashew chicken number! Holly brought the best egg rolls and then for dessert my moms sugar cookies and hand dipped chocolates! Alyson also made Oreo truffles, a first for all of us and they were divine. So good in fact that we made them last weekend too! Another Christmas Eve we will all remember!

This is my moms red and white tree. It is just one of the trees that she has in her house! I just love this one, and on the top of the tree it has huge red and white peppermints!

My Mom made these stockings for my sisters, brother and I. They are hung by the chimney with care every year!

Alyson and Tereck

Chris and Holly freezing and snuggling to get warm!

Tereck with the wink!

Andy and Alyson. Their First Christmas married!

My Dad won a bunch of toys from Smiling, Laughing, Silly Moon (?) One of those I think, and this huge dog was one of the things that he won. It freaks you out when you walk around the corner and someone has sat this big ole dog there. Seriously! Colby was demonstrating the "Aggie" pose with the fake freak you out dog.

We ended the evening with a rousing game of Discombobulation. It was our first time playing it, and it was seriously hilarious. I think it will become one of our family favorites.
