On the Tenth Day of Christmas

Twitch Died! Yes, that is the name of Kenzie's car and Colby was hit in Sardine Canyon on the night of the 23rd. As you can see the car is totaled, but thankfully Colby managed to get by with a few cuts from the glass,(he remembers spitting glass out of his mouth) and lots of bruises. He had glass in his left eye but that is fine now and the only real remembrance of the accident is the black and blue bruises on his left leg. They thought he might have a broken leg but he was lucky (blessed) that it wasn't.

Early Christmas...

Since Alyson was spending Christmas in Ogden with her family and Andy was spending the holidays in Logan with his family we decided to open presents with Alyson a few days before she went home. Here are a few things that she got but the one present I didnt get a picture of is the new pair of shoes we gave her (since Bella has eaten at least 3 or 4 pair of her shoes). So we are slowly making up for all the times she has went to go home and she finds her shoes in pieces or can't find them at all.

P.S. It has been at least 2 months now since Bella has chewed anyone's shoes and she had plenty of opportunity on Christmas Eve!!!

A Sunday Wii'vning with the Family!

Last night Jan and Ted invited us out for dinner and a night of Wii entertainment. We had wonderful toasted roast beef sandwiches, Riley's favorite cheese ball and crackers, I brought scallops wrapped in bacon and we made some homemade guacamole with chips. When everyone was finished eating the coffee table was pushed out of the way and "let the games begin". You can see that Andy has quite the technique when it comes to his ski jump skills... He was trying to teach everyone the move but no one could do it quite like Andy. Colby and Andy took to the boxing game right away, but there favorite was playing the Tank game together. There was tennis, duck hunting, which Alyson is focusing on so seriously, dodge ball, and so much more. I think we all laughed until we could laugh no more.We wish Ashley and Sven were there but they are coming for Christmas and I can tell there will be a few re-matches and new tournaments happening soon.

Thanks Jan and Ted, it was totally a blast!

The New Era goes to Trinidad

The November New Era came out and it had an article about the youth in Trinidad. Andy knows each of the children pictured in the article. The New Era writers were in Trinidad working on this article when Andy was there serving his mission. He spent 18 months of his two years in Trinidad.

Happy 22nd Andy!!

Yesterday was Andy's 22nd Birthday. Alyson and he spent the evening going to the Indian Oven, because Andy has been missing "Caribbean, spicy, curry food".Alyson has been working for months compiling Andy's mission pictures into a very thick. very awesome scrapbook of his entire mission. It is something he will treasure forever! Today we met at Fredrico's for lunch, gotta love the ham and cheese salads, and cake. It was good to see everyone and celebrate Andy and how wonderful it is to have him home with us this holiday season! We love you Andy, Happy Birthday!

In the Lane Snow is Glistening!!!

I think these pictures say it all.... Snow,Snow and lots more Snow! The dogs seem to be the most excited, at least 2 of them were. Cabo could be found under ALL the blankets on my bed while Aggie and Bella were practicing their reindeer moves! It is now noon and the snow has stopped for now.I also need to say a BIG THANKS! to Colby for getting out there and shoveling us out!
