Choo Choo

We have had this Christmas train in the basement for years and I knew this Christmas I wanted to set it up around the upstairs tree for Tayten. He loves it, as long as Colby or I am holding him. He is so funny, he will hop off my lap and RUN to Colby, sit down and wave bye to the train as it goes around the tree. Then as soon as the train comes around the tree again, he hops up and RUNS back to me. You could say he loves the train from afar when it is moving and the whistle is blowing! When it is turned off he loves to push it around and say train over and over!

I had to include this picture of the "tongue" because it is so Colby! (please disregard Colby's work clothes in the background)

Birthday Fun

After we got done shopping around at The Gateway we went to PF Changs for dinner. It is Andy's favorite place. Alyson bought Andy a dozen cupcakes at Vintage Cupcake in Ogden.Happy 24th Andy!

After PF Changs we headed directly to Temple Square. The crowds and lack of available parking made for the craziness that is to be expected 2 weeks before Christmas at Temple Square. We paid the $10 and parked under the conference center! Well worth it!

I still don't know all the things my Canon Rebel can do so I placed a call to my brother in law Craig for some photo advice but to no avail. So I walked around snapping shots on most of the settings and if I do say so myself I got some pretty amazing shots.Commence with multiple temple/lights/festive/favorite people pictures.

Giving Thanks 2010

I am so behind on blogging, lifes up and downs seem to happen and blogging is one of those things that gets pushed to the side. Here is how our Thanksgiving went in pictures. My sister Anjanette and her adorable family came from AZ and it was so good to have them here for a week. On the big day we were only missing Andy and Alyson who spent the holiday in Ogden with Al's family! They were truly missed.

For awhile now Tayten has not been too fond of his Auntie Kenz.On Thanksgiving he decided he liked her again.

We're Off

Tomorrow is Andy's 24th birthday and he wants to go to PF Changs, The Gateway and then to Temple Square. My parents and Alyson's mom are coming with us, and I can't think of any better way to spend a Saturday before Christmas.
